We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join our team in the dynamic fruit and vegetable sector. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing product portfolios, supplier relationships, and market strategies to ensure the highest quality and profitability in line with our company’s goals.

As a Product Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, administration, logistics, and sales, to drive growth and innovation in the European market. If you are passionate about fresh produce and have a strong track record in product management, we would love to hear from you!

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and manage product strategies to meet market demands and company objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring product quality and cost optimization.
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and seasonal changes to maximize profitability.
• Oversee supply chain processes, including inventory management, logistics, and demand forecasting.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agronomy, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of proven expertise in sales within the fruit market—focusing on citrus, grapes, avocados, and berries—alongside experience in product management and procurement.
  Strong track record in the European sector, driving growth and building key relationships in the fresh produce industry.
• Experience managing supplier relationships, logistics, and quality control in the fresh produce industry.
• Strong understanding of market trends, pricing strategies, and regulations specific to the fruit and vegetable industry.
• Familiarity with seasonal cycles, import/export requirements, and customer preferences across key European markets.
• Proficiency level in at least two of the following languages: Spanish, English or Dutch. An additional European language (e.g., German or French) is highly desirable.
• Flexible working mentality.
• Knowledge of international trade (import/export).
• A European passport or a valid work permit is a mandatory requirement for this position.

SKILLS: 

• Strong negotiation and communication abilities to effectively liaise with suppliers and clients. Proficiency in demand planning, inventory management, and supply chain optimization.

This role is at the core of our daily activities. As Operational Manager, you will oversee and coordinate logistics, warehouse activities, and administrative flows to ensure efficiency and accuracy across all operational areas.
We are looking for a proactive, structured, analytical, and hands-on professional with strong coordination skills and attention to detail, who can keep the engine running and see the bigger picture at the same time.

Your mission is to guarantee that every operational process runs smoothly — from shipment to documentation — ensuring excellent service for customers and internal teams.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operations & Coordination

• Oversee daily logistics activities, including shipping, customs clearance, warehousing, and deliveries.
• Coordinate communication between suppliers, service providers, and internal teams.
• Monitor timelines, detect deviations, and take corrective actions promptly.
• Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with internal procedures.

Process Optimization & Support

• Identify areas for improvement and propose practical solutions to enhance speed and efficiency.
• Support digitalization and process automation within operations and back office.
• Ensure consistent follow-up on administrative tasks related to shipments, orders, and invoicing.

Team & Cross-Department Collaboration

• Act as a bridge between Logistics, Commercial, Finance, and Quality teams.
• Support management with operational data and reports for better decision-making.
• Encourage clear communication across departments.

Continuous Improvement & Risk Management

• • Identify inefficiencies and implement solutions to reduce cost and improve speed.
  • Design contingency plans to manage disruptions.
  • Foster sustainability and transparency across the chain.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree (or HBO equivalent) in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related.
• 3–5 years’ experience in operations, logistics, or Back-office coordination, ideally in FMCG or fresh produce.
• Strong planning, multitasking, and problem-solving skills with a structured way of working.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (must); Dutch or another European language is a plus.
• Confident using digital tools (Microsoft pack), ERP systems, and communication platforms.
